Sharon DeLevie
For more than a dozen years, Sharon DeLevie has applied her educational training in journalism and psychology from Tufts University to help clients gain strategic consumer insight and translate this insight into business opportunity. Ms. DeLevie began her career in consumer science at the Decision Research Corporation division of Mercer Management, where she worked for 3 years as a Director of Research. After leaving Mercer, she started her own consultancy, focusing on clients across the range of consumer information and entertainment industries with key clients including HBO, Inc., Nickelodeon, Condé Nast, Scientific American and Disney.
For these media clients, Ms. DeLevie's work has included television pilot testing, magazine cover testing, channel and magazine branding studies, and product imagery projects. She has helped several companies develop new channels which required work on positioning, concept development, content issues and promotion.
In recent years, Ms. DeLevie's consultancy practice has expanded to include the Internet where she has helped established companies develop an online presence. She has also worked with a number of startup online companies in
helping them develop their websites.
Ms. DeLevie's specialties include research with children and teens, where she employs a host of projective techniques and games to provoke discussion.
