Mike Courtney
Mike Courtney is Principal of Market Research Insight and has been providing strategic qualitative research services since 1989. He has experience applying marketing research and analysis for consumer and B2B segments within high tech, retail and financial industries for over 18 years. His background and expertise in high tech focused on new product development and early stage venture fund evaluating startup companies plays a major role in shaping his perspective on business strategies. Mike's major clients include Nokia Mobile Phones, Radio Shack, and T-Mobile USA, where he has played a major role in testing brand positioning as well as planning and launching new products. Mike holds an MMR degree (Masters of Marketing Research) from the University of Georgia and has extensive experience on both the client and supplier side. In addition to traditional qualitative research, Mike has particular expertise moderating online focus groups and bulletin boards. Mike is a frequent seminar leader and speaker at corporate, industry and academic events and is a co-author of the book "Wireless Internet, Crash Course", published by McGraw-Hill.
