Kerry Walsh
Kerry Walsh received her formal education in communications and psychology at the University of Wisconsin. She spent the first nine years of her career in advertising, as Strategic Planning Director at D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles and in a similar capacity at Ketchum Communications. During this time, Kerry managed major brand initiatives for diverse clients that included Anheuser-Busch, M&M/Mars, Conagra, Bank of America and Hunt-Wesson. Kerry was a senior associate at the Forbes Consulting Group for five years, working with Forbes for Fortune 500 clients spanning the retail, packaged goods, financial and technology industries.
In 1998 Kerry initiated her own independent consultancy. Her practice leverages her experience in advertising strategy and consumer psychological research to assist clients in building integrated marketing plans on a foundation of deep insight into consumer emotions and motivations. Her services are in high demand by clients such as Levi Strauss & Company, Charles Schwab, Inc., Intuit, Mellon Bank, M&M/Mars and Nabisco. She consults as well to major advertising agencies including Hal Riney & Partners, Foot, Cone and Belding and DMB&B.
Kerry offers her clients a full range of qualitative research services, as well as creative ideation, quantitative research design and anthropological/ethnographic research.
