Drew Pieros

Drew Pieros holds a BA in psychology from Rutgers University, and did graduate work in advertising/marketing research at New York University. Prior to starting his own consultancy, Drew had a long and diverse career in advertising, where he built his expertise in strategic business planning driven by consumer research insight.

Drew began his career in 1981 at Ted Bates, where he conducted research for a variety of national clients ranging from traditional package goods companies to business-to-business services and technology. He worked at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, NY as Associate Director of Planning and Research, where he managed the AT&T Information Systems account and led communications strategies for the introduction of AT&T PC and mini computer lines. He moved to Boston where he managed financial services research for The New England, and finally spent three years as Vice President, Director of Research for Cabot Communications, one of Boston's top three advertising/communications agencies.

Since 1991, Drew has managed an independent research consultancy in California's Silicon Valley, where he has become a major strategic resource for the high technology industry – serving clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Intel, IBM, Cisco, Motorola and scores of dot.com start-ups. At the same time, he continues to leverage his strong marketing analysis and planning skills to help traditional business clients such as Reebok, USAirways, Citibank, Colgate, Smirnoff, Tanqueray, Clorox and M&M/Mars.

Drew provides a full range of qualitative research services, and is available as well for executive ideation sessions, and for consultation in positioning and consumer communications planning.
