Barry Paul

Barry Paul first began his collaboration with David Forbes at Harvard University in 1981– working on NSF funded research on the psychology of persuasion. He completed his undergraduate and graduate work in the fields of social and developmental psychology at Boston University and Brandeis University, respectively. Mr. Paul has been applying his training to help businesses gain consumer insights since 1984. He has been with the Forbes Group Inc. since its inception and currently holds the position of Senior Partner.

Mr. Paul's research and consultancy practice includes work across a wide range of industries, from packaged goods to financial services. His key clients include Welch's, Nasdaq and John Hancock, where he manages consumer and business-to-business learning from qualitative insights through quantitavtive testing.

In addition to providing clients with a full range of qualitative and quantitative services, Barry also leads ideation and strategic planning sessions to help business executives put research learning into business practice.
