Anne Jalbert

Anne Jalbert holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She entered the business world in new product development for the Beauty Care Products division of Procter & Gamble, followed this with a move to marketing at Black & Decker Household Products, and later became manager of marketing research there. In 1992, she began her practice as an independent consumer research consultant, serving clients in a range of industries that include home care, personal care, pet food, toys, web-site interface, pharmaceuticals and restaurants.

Anne's scientific background, together with her marketing and research experience, allows her to offer clients a unique synergy of skills not common in a research partner. Her comfort with highly technical products and topics makes her a unique resource for new product development and valuation for clients such as S.C. Johnson & Son and SmithKline Beecham. Her hands-on experience in business application of research insights has made her especially valuable to advertising clients such as Grey Advertising and Jordan McGrath Case and Partners. Finally, her youth and easy manner make her a natural for children's interviewing for clients such as The First Years and Disney Adventures.

Ms. Jalbert provides her clients with a full range of qualitative research services, including in-home ethnographic research that probes lifestyles and product usage in their natural context and a variety of imagery techniques that uncover the emotional underpinnings of product usage and loyalty . She also provides her clients with ideation services – leveraging her skills in process management and creative thinking.
