Mark Ingwer

Dr. Ingwer founded Insight Research after identifying a need for a more potent understanding of consumer and business behavior. Dr. Ingwer applies his psychology, advertising and market research skills to an array of business problems in working with a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100 firms to e-commerce start-ups. In recent years, he has focused on brand positioning and brand equity research while pioneering new projective methods.

Dr. Ingwer is a qualitative research specialist who earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, a division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Additionally, he received a certificate in marketing from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to launching Insight Research Associates, Dr. Ingwer worked at Saatchi and Saatchi as a qualitative researcher. At DMB&B and Goldring Research, he held senior management positions. He has lectured at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management on methods and approaches to consumer research. Dr. Ingwer has made numerous presentations to professional audiences on such topics as direct marketing research methods, business-to-business research and new product development.

Dr. Ingwer is a member of the American Marketing Association and the American Psychological Association, a division of consumer psychology.
