Neil Harding
Neil Harding has been providing strategic qualitative research services since 1993 when he started a UK based agency with a European focus, Laser Marketing Research (Europe) Ltd. He previously worked as a Biochemist for ICI before moving into market research working in both Europe and the US on the client side of the industry with S. C. Johnson. This combination has given Neil excellent insights into not only the practical mechanics of research but how to best interpret findings and make recommendations that have applications and relevance within his clients' businesses. His background in, plus experience of, a range of business categories, from household products to prescription pharmaceuticals, and conducting research for a range of functions from Marketing to R&D, play a major role in shaping his perspective on research problems. Neil's major clients include S. C. Johnson, Bausch & Lomb and Gillette, where he has played major roles in strategic research, new product development, concept / positioning testing, advertising strategy development and creative optimization.
Neil has extensive experience of working with clients in consumer goods (food, drink, household cleaning, personal care and fragrancing products), gardening, DIY and financial services within the consumer sector. He also has significant experience of research with both professionals and patients for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients
